Triathlon Poem

I dashed off at the start like a dart, separating apart.
With flames behind me I had enough time to drink a cup of tea.
I came to my transition in first position.
I was on my bike, in the lead, with a great amount of terrific speed.
As I made my break I began to escape.
When I hit the water my flame began to slaughter.
I hear cheering as I saw the finish line appearing.
The parents go wild as they cheer for their child.

Wi Pere Street Lookout

On Thursday as part of our inquiry 'Our Place' we walked to the Wi Pere Street lookout. We got a great view of Mangapapa, Mangapapa School and Gisborne.

Things to do in Gizzy

This term our inquiry is focused on "Our Place". Part of our inquiry has involved us exploring the different things that people can do in Gisborne. We have all made our own brochures about Gisborne. Our brochures highlight five things that you can do in Gisborne. It is amazing what we you can do in our little city.
