Plurals

This week we have explored what a plural is. We have also been looking at the rules for writing plurals. Some of us have been using an apostrophe with an s to make a plural. We have learnt that an apostrophe does not make a plural.

 

 

 

Time for another Pep Talk

It is good to ask ourselves- Are we focused learners? Are we being the best that we can be?

Doodle 4 Google

Google is currently running a competition for school children. The challenge is to design a google doodle around the theme "If I was an explorer..."
There are some brilliant prizes to be won so Room 2 are working hard on creating a winning design.

At the moment our school is looking for a new principal. Michael and Braden made an advertisement for the  principal they would like. We think they did a great job.

Next week is Maori Language Week.

Te Wiki o te Reo Māori runs from 1-7 July 2013.
The theme is ‘Ngā ingoa Māori, Māori names’.
We encourage you to learn more about Māori names, including place names and names of people you may know. We are going to make it our mission as well.
